This striking ring features an authentic 1854 U.S. $1 Type II Indian Princess Head gold coin, bezel-set into a substantial 14K yellow gold signet-style mounting. The coin shows the beautifully detailed Indian Princess portrait on the face, with “1 DOLLAR 1854” visible on the reverse. Very small mintage of these  only made 1849-1854

Struck more than 170 years ago, these tiny gold dollars were minted in 90% gold and are prized for their distinctive design and remarkably small scale. Set into a bold 14K ring, the coin takes on an entirely different presence — historic, graphic, and wonderfully unusual.
