A rare and beautifully detailed antique English equestrian stick pin, dating to the late Victorian–Edwardian period, circa 1895–1915. This finely crafted piece depicts a galloping horse, its body studded with sparkling rose-cut diamonds, ridden by a hand-enameled jockey in traditional silks.
The horse is fashioned in sterling silver, applied to a 9k yellow gold mount and stem—an authentic construction seen in high-quality English sporting jewelry of the era. Intricate beaded silverwork highlights the horse’s musculature, while delicate gold (or gold-plated) reins and a tiny red gemstone eye add exceptional charm and character.
The stick pin stem features a partial twist, designed to grip securely when worn on lapels, scarves, or hats. Enamel shows only minimal age-appropriate wear. The piece is offered in a lovely original-style navy presentation box with cream velvet interior, making it ideal for collectors or gifting.
